General and Automobile Liability

For an entertainment policy, General and Automobile Liability would be written together as a CGL policy with Auto Liability. Note that liability policies may contain a Field of Entertainment Exclusion.

Liability exposures can be affected by such issues as type of liability, level of hazard, and complexity of photography. Stunts, watercraft, aircraft, trains, animals, etc. all require special underwriting and premium charges.

Shooting locations
Choosing the right foreign insurance - such as Workers' Compensation, liability coverage, contingent coverage such as political risk or confiscation - depends on the shooting location.

The territory is normally "anywhere in the world" but companies must be notified of locations for underwriting purposes.

Automobile
Auto Physical Damage is generally covered as production equipment under the Production Package. Deductibles are a percentage of the vehicle value, subject to a minimum and maximum.

Auto Liability is a sub-section to the General Liability Policy. The premium is based upon the cost of hire.
